Unconquered Hawai'i is an 'ōiwi-owned apparel and lifestyle brand rooted in mo'omeheu Hawai'i, 'ōlelo Hawai'i, and 'ike kūpuna. Founded in Kaua'i in 2007 and now based in Lahaina, Maui, every design begins as a hand-drawn illustration inspired by Hawaiian mo'olelo, native plants, and cultural practices. Our founders, Nate and Tara Diego, channel their personal journeys of overcoming addiction, incarceration, cancer, and the 2023 Lahaina wildfire into clothing that is both functional and meaningful. With each piece, we embody our slogan, "Live life unconquered," creating wearable art that uplifts our lahui, honors our heritage, and shares Hawai'i's stories with the world.
